Teaches WRONG Sounds

DO NOT use this app if you want to avoid future learning to read problems! While this app is cute and fun, it does NOT teach correct articulation of the phonemes (sounds). As a special education teacher of 20 years, I cant tell you enough how difficult this is to correct once learned incorrectly. I contacted the company and offered to help put in the correct sounds and was told they werent interested in accuracy of the phonemes, all they wanted was a fun game to teach letters and words and if I didnt like that, like the other speech language therapists and teachers that had contacted them, then not to use it. Very disappointed that they would knowingly cause children to develop reading difficulties! Please avoid the app at all cost!

Great fun

My grandchildren love this app! And so do I.

Not worth the price

Really neat app and I do like it. But is it worth $7? Absolutely not. It only does one thing. Scrambles words and has the kids match the letters back. It does the sounds & says name of letter but I really expected so much more for $7. Download Stumpy for so much cheaper and get letters, numbers, & shapes!!

My son loves this

Im shocked at how much hes learning with this app! He laughs and says the big words. Its great.

Happy!

I am a Special Ed teacher, and I am very happy with this. I think Ill use it for my whole class!

Awesome app

My daughter is on the spectrum. She absolutely loves Endless ABC. It keeps her entertained while she is learning. Thank you for this. Please let me know if you have more apps similar.

Great letter matching game

Helped my son, age two, identify letters. He does keep hitting the home button which causes the game to reset. Wish the button was hidden, maybe under a drop down. The letter sounds are a little confusing but great for someone learning letters and new words.

Excellent

Both my kids have improved their letters with this fun game.

Was fun at first

My daughter loved this app. But after she got tired of the same words, she quit playing. No new words in quite some time has made this app like a book that collects dust on the shelf.

It would be great, IF...

This would be a great app if it gave you more customizing functions. I work with kids on the Autism Spectrum, and I really hate that you can put letters down in the wrong order. Often, the letter that "jumps" isnt the letter that comes next in the word. This is definitely an impediment to learning for some kids!

LOVE IT!!

This app does a great job introducing phonics with cartoon letters. Plus- it give definitions the words with fun videos. My son love it and has had no issues learning to read:-) A lot of work and attention to detail went int the creation of this app!

All of my kids have LOVED it

A fun and entertaining game that helps teach kids reading, spelling, and phonics. Great app. Would HIGHLY recommend it to all parents.

Good, but..

My son really likes this app, however the home button is WAY too sensitive. It should be a double tap and hide while youre in a word. Little hands cannot handle the sensitive home button and then have to start a word all over when they hit it. Please fix!

Great app

No, I’m not a teacher…I’m a parent of a child who is learning his letters and we have had excellent success with him and being able to pick out letters out an about, in real life, not on the app. We are NOT using this as a primary teaching tool for our son but a fun way to help him become familiar with letters. The one flaw that I fully disagree with is that you can put the letters in any way you want…I would like to be able to force him to follow the progression of the words not simply see and match the letters.

Awesome

Love this app for letter matching and learning new words. My 2yo and 7yo both like it. Recommend!

Age appropriate to introduce alphabet to 2.5 year old

This app has taught my busy 2.5 year old how to recognize letters. Great starting point in my opinion. We only use it for short periods of time, not even every day. Only has capital letters, but he has started pointing them out in books and on clothes and says their sounds. Recommended age of 4+ is overstated as my 2.5 year old can easily navigate the app.

Worth every penny!!

Amazing and adorable app. Our three year old could count to 25, identify a rhombus and even do simple math but the alphabet seemed to completely elude her. We tried books, flash cards reward based learning even abc mouse. But it wasnt until I ran across this app the she started to pick it up and very quickly! Within three weeks she could identify each letter and even most of the sounds correctly. She was moved up to the VPK when her daycare teachers noticed her sounding out letters, then small words. Its been about a month and a half and she can now spell her name! The first time she played the app I noticed it was different from all the other basic learning apps she had played. I had to call daddy in to have a look, it was so adorable and hilariously entertaining. We are so very happy and thankful to the developers! Keep it up and please consider progressing the characters further so she can enjoy them into elementary school. Well keep an eye out for more.

Best App Ever!!!

My 18 month old LOVES this app! She can navigate through it all by herself. Its fun! The characters are adorable! And best of all... shes learning! I HIGHLY recommend getting this app! Worth every cent!
